License notices & obligations
A few components carry conditions beyond a simple permissive license. The required notices and source references are reproduced below.
LGPL-3.0 components (lamejs, heic-to)
TabTasker uses the following libraries under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0. They are delivered to your browser as separate, individually loadable script and WebAssembly chunks. You may obtain each library’s source code at the pinned version below and rebuild or replace it; nothing in our terms restricts that right or reverse-engineering for debugging your own modifications.
- lamejs (v1.2.1) — client-side MP3 encoding. A JavaScript port of the LAME MP3 encoder. This product uses LAME (lame.sourceforge.net). Source: github.com/zhuker/lamejs. Notice: lamejs-LICENSE.txt.
- heic-to (v1.4.2) — HEIC/HEIF decoding. Source: github.com/hoppergee/heic-to. License: heic-to-LICENSE.txt. HEIC/HEVC may be covered by patents in some jurisdictions; any patent rights are the responsibility of the relevant codec licensors.
MPL-2.0 component (@resvg/resvg-wasm)
Open Graph share-card images are rendered with @resvg/resvg-wasm (v2.6.2), licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. The MPL covers that file individually and does not extend to the rest of TabTasker. Its source at the pinned version is available at github.com/yisibl/resvg-js. The markdown sanitizer dompurify is dual-licensed MPL-2.0 or Apache-2.0 and is used here under Apache-2.0, so no MPL obligation applies to it.
OpenRAIL-M model (Supertonic TTS)
The PDF Podcast voice uses the Supertonic TTS model under the OpenRAIL-M license. Commercial use is permitted royalty-free, but the model may not be used for the purposes restricted in that license (including unlawful, harmful, discriminatory, or deceptive uses). By generating audio with this tool you agree to those use-based restrictions, which apply in addition to our Terms of Service.
Questions about a specific dependency, model, or license edge case can be sent through the contact page.
